WordPress Support Plan FAQs
Got questions about our WordPress support plans? Take a look below, or feel free to get in touch!
WordPress is a great choice for your business website, but having your own custom built website comes with technical requirements. Some businesses choose to manage their website in-house, however this requires a specialist team that has niche knowledge and know-how. Many organisations find that it’s much more cost-effective – and less hassle – to outsource website management to an expert. Subscribing to a WordPress support plan gives you the peace of mind that everything is being taken care of.
Maintenance plans tend to cover a lot of the technical details of running a WordPress site ie. backups, software updates, maintenance etc. But we've always found the real magic comes from helping website owners with the other challenges they have in how to make their website and online marketing more successful. That's why we provide both maintenance and full support in our plans.
Your WordPress website will need to be hosted on a fast, reliable server. It will also need regular software updates so that key functionality keeps working properly, and regular backups so you're not at risk of losing any data. The site will need to be protected from hacks and malware and also kept safe from unsolicited spam. This can seem very overwhelming for most business owners which is why we have developed plans which mean you can hand this all over to us!
Yes, you could. But do you want to? Surely your time would be better spent doing what you do best?
Anything related to your website or online marketing! For example if you'd like help with getting Google Analytics set up properly, or you need some records added to your domain to verify your email marketing tool, or you'd like your website set up to send enquiries straight to your CRM, we can help. We can also provide help with strategy, SEO, Google Ads and pretty much anything else that relates to your website or online marketing. Our team are WordPress experts, but we've also been helping clients with many other website related tasks for over 10+ years. If you have a specific task in mind, just get in touch!
Yes! If you don't use your included support time it will automatically be rolled over for up to 6 months. This means that when we come to do your 6 month review meeting, you'll already have some time in the bank for us to complete any changes or updates needed.
We like to check in with our clients at least every 6 months to discuss how your website is performing and what your plans are. This gives us a chance to review the site with you, make sure everything’s up-to-date, working as it should, and attracting the right people. We can also make suggestions for improvements, or put forward new ideas that could produce even more powerful outcomes.
No, as long as the site is working we can support and improve it.
Yes, we only support sites built with WordPress.
We always recommend that you use our website hosting - the quality of hosting services varies wildly and we can be 100% confident in the hosting we provide. Hosting is also included in all of our WordPress support plans and we'll even migrate your site to our lightening fast, UK based hosting servers for free. Having said that, if you prefer to use your own hosting, that's fine. We will need full access to your server though in case we need to investigate any issues as part of our regular updates and maintenance.
